Frank Rogers Building Contractors is thrilled to announce that our project, The Welsh Church, Waterloo, has been Highly Commended in the Best Conversion Scheme category at the prestigious Sefton Design Awards, held once every decade.
This recognition highlights the exceptional work carried out by the Frank Rogers team to preserve and transform this historic structure.
The Welsh Church was one of the final buildings acquired by Frank Rogers himself before his passing, making this accolade particularly significant for the company. His vision to blend heritage with modern design has been realised through this project, which combines respect for the building’s historical significance with cutting-edge design and craftsmanship.
"We are deeply honoured to receive this commendation," said Dean Rogers, Managing Director of Frank Rogers Building Contractors. "This project holds a special place in our hearts, not just for the craftsmanship involved, but for the legacy it represents. My father believed in the potential of this building, and it’s a privilege to see that vision come to life."
The conversion of the Welsh Church has not only safeguarded an important historical building but has also breathed new life into the community by transforming it into modern, functional spaces while maintaining its unique architectural features. Frank Rogers Building Contractors extends sincere gratitude to the Sefton Design Awards committee for this recognition and to the dedicated team whose hard work and creativity made this project a success.
